Python Job: Machine Intelligence Scientist

We are looking for outstanding researchers and engineers who are passionate about AI, software engineering and big data. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team with expertise in AI, embedded systems and software, you will be responsible for building cutting-edge proof-of-concept algorithms that are highly optimized and can deliver real-time performance.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Develop promising new technologies and tools in the field of deep learning, machine learning and computer vision to solve some very hard unsolved problems. You will be expected to develop a deep and thorough understanding of the fundamental concepts, as well as, have the mastery over the dark-art of fine-tuning the hyperparameters typically required to take the algorithms to the next level.
• Work with a team of embedded experts to deploy the algorithms on the target platform. This task will require you to develop expertise in the area of network quantization and compression.
• In addition, you will be required to actively participate in the advanced research activities of the group and supervise research interns that are funded by SM to work on Blue-Sky research projects.

About you

• Post-graduate qualifications - PHD or Master's in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or equivalent.
• Exceptionally strong expertise in deep learning, machine learning and computer vision.
• Exceptionally strong expertise in python and deep learning libraries (tensorflow or pytorch).
• Strong problem solving, written and verbal communication skills.

Highly Desirable:

• Experience in building and deploying AI systems.
• Experience writing code in C++.
• Experience with Git and Docker.
• Strong demonstrable research record with publications in reputed conferences and/or journals.
